CIA World Factbook The World Factbook is produced for US Government officials. The style, format, coverage, and content are designed to meet their specific requirements. It contains information about the countries of the world.
 
Country Studies
(Area Handbooks)
A continuing series of books prepared under the Country Studies/Area Handbook Program sponsored by the Department of the Army. Most books in the series deal with a particular foreign country, describing and analyzing its political, economic, social, and national security systems and institutions, and examining the interrelationships of those systems and the ways they are shaped by cultural factors.
 
GLOBAL GATEWAY: WORLD CULTURE AND RESOURCES Unified portal to the Library of Congress's digital international collections and resources, including 20 individual primary source digital collections focused on different world cultures and 5 collaboratively build bilingual digital libraries exploring the U.S.'s relations with France, the Netherlands, Siberia, Spainand Brazil.
